Visual OligoExport Formats
Visual Oligo supports the following export formats. Use the right tool for the format you need; each format is available from specific workflows below.
Supported formats
- FASTA — Sequence format for DNA/RNA. Export from Oligo Properties or batch analysis when available.
- PDB (Protein Data Bank format)
3D atomic coordinates for DNA/RNA or oligonucleotide structures. Download from the DNA/RNA 3D Structure or PDB Upload viewer after loading your PDB (e.g. from RCSB). Use in PyMOL, ChimeraX, or NDB.
- PNG
Screenshot of the current 3D view. Use the Export PNG button in the DNA/RNA 3D Structure, PDB Upload, or Double Helix Builder viewer for figures and presentations.
- PDF
Oligonucleotide property report with sequence, length, MW, GC%, Tm, and ε260. Download from Oligo Properties after entering your DNA or RNA sequence. Batch analysis can produce a table or optional ZIP of PDFs.
Where to export from
- Oligo Properties — PDF report (sequence, length, MW, GC%, Tm, ε260); copy sequence for FASTA.
- Salt Adjusted Tm — Molarity and dilution; use with MW from Oligo Properties.
- DNA/RNA 3D Structure — PDB, PNG for the loaded oligonucleotide or nucleic acid structure.
- PDB Upload — PDB, PNG for your uploaded DNA/RNA PDB.
- Double Helix Builder — PNG of multi-frame or helix view.
- Batch Analysis Export — How to export multiple oligo analyses (table, CSV).
